Lots of LOVE

The last few weeks have been very busy with lots of kids, lots of Gospel preaching, and lots of LOVE ❤️! We have one more week with Isaac before he begins his journey back to RVA for 10th grade. Overall, everyone is healthy and doing well here, and enjoying the many opportunities to share and show the LOVE of GOD with others.

Isaac came with me last Wednesday to Ujiji and visited the maktaba and the schools. The kids LOVE ❤️ visitors, and especially enjoyed having Isaac pay them a visit. Isaac is taking a Swahili course at RVA (school) and was able to practice his Swahili as he greeted the class and introduced himself! We also gave all of the students a Kids EE booklet in Swahili with Bible verses and word puzzles etc. We also just started the book of Romans with them and these booklets reinforce the teaching on the Gospel!

The Maktaba is continuing to go well with various visitors and opportunities. They just released the 4th volume of William McDonald's "Believers Commentary." This completes this commentary of the New Testament in Swahili, another great resource to have in the maktaba!

Here are a few pictures of the visitors from this past week who received a wordless book keychain/tract. The kids LOVE ❤️ to come after school and color :)
The work in Kizenga is going well! We were able to cut in a new road to the church which is so much easier on the car and its occupants! We no longer have to cross a stream in rainy season and the new road is MUCH smoother.
We also are wrapping up our work on the glorified out-house :-) Having a bathroom in the village will be a huge blessing, especially to the ladies!
We just LOVE ❤️ the kids of Kizenga! Whether on Sundays, workdays, or on days we are visiting neighbors, the kids always come and hang out with us. The kids club on Fridays is a huge blessing as well. Lots of LOVE ❤️!

We are continuing in our house to house visitation with the Gospel in Kizenga on Thursdays. We continue to have good conversations, but many are hesitant to make any decisions as most we talk with are Muslims.

I, John, went with Gerald to a market outside of town for an open air meeting with the paint board. There was a good crowd of curious people wondering what this "Mzungu" was doing! The Gospel was preached and some responded. Here are a few pictures of the meeting :

Jennifer is continuing to work through the Tanzanian side of the nursing process, filling out forms to get her Tanzania nursing license and work permit. We are both hopeful that she will be able to start working in the hospital within the next two months.

Yes, the last few weeks have been very busy with lots of kids, lots of Gospel, and lots of LOVE ❤️!
Here are a few prayer requests:
1 - Please keep praying over Camp Nuru and the spiritual battle over land right now!
2 - Please keep praying for Jennifer as she works through this sometimes challenging process here on the Tanzanian side of things to work in the hospital here.
3 - We are praying about a second vehicle as we are often needing to go in different directions these days. (Village - Ujiji - Hospital)
4 - Please pray for Isaac as he returns to RVA next week and as the other kids start back school .
Once again, thank you all so much for your prayers and support!
