“All good things must come to an end”, is an expression that we have all heard many times. Thankfully, that expression is not 100% true! It can be applied to things in this temporary world, but not to the world to come! In the world to come, all “good things“ will never end!
“ And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes, there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” Revelation 21:4
I have enjoyed this verse very much recently. As we serve the Lord, we need to be reminded of what is coming, Who is coming, and how our work for and with the Lord is directly connected to His coming Kingdom. Eternal focus produces eternal purpose!

We just landed in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania! We are back, refreshed spiritually, but weary physically from the travel :-)

It truly felt like space travel, since we had as much gear on as an astronaut! The facemask, the face shield, my glasses, and the earphones for almost 20 hours, spanning two flights, was an interesting experience to say the least.
We all survived, and amazingly all of our bags did too, we are back! It was a lot to take in right away; the sites, the sounds, being whisked away in a taxi into the chaotic Tanzanian streets, but these were familiar experiences to us which remind us that we are here for a purpose, to make an eternal difference in peoples lives.

It’s hard to say “Goodbye” so often to those you love, but His calling is a High Calling! It is such a privilege to serve our amazing Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, in this way! We look forward to what He has planned and will accomplish on this next term in Tanzania. We are back!
We are so thankful for our time back in the US over the past several months. We had so many opportunities to serve the Lord while seeing family and friends that we love so much. We are so encouraged every time we think of you, and the many ways you have encouraged us in the Gospel work going on here.

We are back! Stay tuned for updates to come!
“For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
